EL CAMPO - Irene Horecka Maresh, 81, of El Campo, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004. She was born Feb. 11, 1923, in Breslau, to the late Cyril Method and Anna Lucy Shimek Horecka. She was a homemaker and a past member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church. Survivors: sister, Anna Lucille Schilhab of Comfort. Preceded in death by: husband, Henry Maresh; daughter, Virginia Garcia; sister, Ruby Poessel; brothers, Lawrence Horecka and Leroy Horecka; and one granddaughter. Visitation will begin at noon Sunday at Triska Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Philip Catholic Church, the Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, 979-543-3681.
