Bio
Marry Ann Howes, daughter of Joseph Howes and Elizabeth Pope, married Henry Stolworthy in 1810, and together they had thirteen children. At the age of 47, Mary died, only a year after the death of her husband Henry. This left their remaining children orphaned, and several of the children ended up under the care of the church, living at the Great Yarmouth Union Workhouse, which is now Northgate Hospital.
