The Odessa American Odessa, Texas · Thursday, August 21, 2014 ODESSA ~~ Frieda Clara Young, 98, of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born October 13, 1915, to Albert and Marie Heiser in Menard, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Young, in 1964, and daughter, Frankie Harvey. She is survived by her son, Wayne Young of Odessa; daughter, Bobbie Ivy and son-in-law Newt Ivy of Odessa; daughter-in- law, Patsy Young of Odessa; brother, Buddy Heiser of Coleman; sister, Gertrude Johnson of Midland; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Derell Harvey. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Russell Nebhut officiating. Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
