The Odessa American Odessa, Texas · Thursday, August 06, 1964 Funeral services for Cecil C. Young, 51, 2108 West Eighth, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Westpark Baptist Church here, with Rev. C. A. Harper, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, directed by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He died Wednesday at Medical Center Hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was a pumper for Cities Service Oil Co. He was born October 11, 1913, in Comanche County. He married Elfrieda Heiser, October 27, 1934, in Millersview. He had lived in Odessa since 1961, moving here from Crane. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include the wife; a son, Cecil Wayne Young; two daughters, Bobbie Marie Ivy, and Francis Harvey, both of Crane; his mother, Mrs. Nora M. Young; five brothers, 0. D. Young of Walnut Springs, R. L. Young of Grandview: E. V. Young of Cleburne, Clayton Young of Liance, Nebraska, and Vernon Young, Fort of Worth; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Hamilton of Andrews, Mrs. Ester Carlock of Cleburne, and Mary Young of Temple.
