Bio
Marie Fade Crow was born in Athens, Texas on November 5th 1923. She entered Heaven’s gates on September 6th, 2013. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she will be long remembered by the many she touched throughout her life. Enduring a long struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease over the past 9 years, Marie spent her final years in Sugarland close to the family she nurtured and loved for most of her life. Marie was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Alec Sherman Crow and by seven of her siblings: Alton Fade, LeRoy Fade, Floyd Fade, Bertie Fade, Artie Fade, Lilac Warren and Mattie Fisher. She is survived by two sisters, Gertie Karacostas and Lois Gamblin, and brother, Wayne Fade. Marie is also survived by her daughter Kathy Swanzy and her husband Chris, son Keith Crow and wife Jenifer. She will be in the fondest memories of three grandchildren, Candice Phoenix, Krystal Kuebler and Christy Wootton, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews whom she loved so very deeply. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas, with a funeral service celebrating her life to follow at 11:00 am.
