Bio
Roy Wayne Fade, 79, of Chester passed away peacefully on February 22, 2019. Born July 9, 1939 in Athens, Texas to the late Leonard and Thelma Hurbrough Fade, he lived in Chester since 1982. He was a retired pipe fitter for Union #211 and a Vietnam Army Veteran. Roy enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Roy was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Joe Fade. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Fade; daughter, Teresa Welborn and husband, Ray of Pasadena; son, Nolan Fade; grandchildren, Lee Welborn, Ashley Welborn, Sarah Welborn, Zach Fade, Cassie Covazos and husband, Arturo, Joseph Fade and Taylor Fade; great grandchildren, Piper, Harper, Lily, Logan, Caleb, Ben, Luke, Natalie, Nicholas, Noah, Anna and Jayden. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2019, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. A grave side service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at 1 pm at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston.
