Bio

The funeral of Henry H. Osmon, 89, of 4440 Lewis, who died Wednesday, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Umberger's. The Rev. Quincy A. Murphree will officiate and burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Born in Houghton, N.Y., Mr. Osmon had been a resident of Lincoln for 12 years. Prior to moving to Lincoln, he had lived in Fremont and was employed there as construction company excavation foreman. Surviving are wife, Dora; sons, Ray C. of Lincoln, and Ted of Portland, Ore.; stepsons, Orville, Joseph, Domer and Lloyd Jones, all of Lincoln, and Floyd and Raymond Jones, both of Omaha; stepdaughter, Mrs. Emery Allen of Lincoln; 23 grandchildren ; 53 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
