Bio

He married Leona M. Taylor on 27 May 1935 at Galena, Illinois. Dr. Stephen graduated from the University of Iowa School of Medicine in 1936. He practiced medicine in Des Moines from 1937 until 1939, in Manchester from 1939 until 1951, and then moved to Cedar Rapids, where he retired in 1976. He was a 50-year member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He died at his home at 215 Cottage Grove Ave SE in Cedar Rapids. Survivors included 2 sons, 2 daughters, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and a brother.
