Betty Jean Franks, 85, of Oklahoma City, passed away on October 16, 2019. Betty was born on July 9, 1934 in Prague, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of John R. Krajicek and Marie H. Krajicek. Betty was raised in the Prague area before moving to Oklahoma City. Betty was an excellent fisherman and enjoyed fishing through out her life. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking. Betty was an ardent sports fan, always rooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Oklahoma Sooners, St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. While Betty loved her fishing and sports, she most cherished being a mother and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and they adored her. Betty was also devout in her faith to Jesus Christ. She watched, listened and studied the preachings of John Hagee on a daily basis. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Charles Franks; one brothers, Ed Krajicek; six children, Glenda Kinzey, Allen Kinzey and wife Kathy, Kathy Kinzey, Tammy Kinzey, Christopher Franks and wife Summer and Crystal Franks and husband Michael; grandchildren, Lisa Kinzey, Michael Kinzey, Amy Kinzey, Sadie Franks. Tyler Franks, Alexa Franks, McKayla Franks, Aaliyah Franks, Elijah Franks and Destn Joshua. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM. The service will be held at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague. Burial will follow at the Czech National Cemetery in Prague.
