Bio

Darline Bosak Blinka, 88, of Rosenberg, Texas, passed away on September 29, 2019. She was born on September 1, 1931 in Needville, Texas to Louis and Albena Bosak. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rosenberg. Darline was also a member of the American Legion & VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bingo and cards, dancing, and working in her yard. She was famous for her coconut pies. This loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend will be missed. In addition to her parents, Darline is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Blinka, Sr., and brothers, Leroy and Ladis Bosak. Survivors include her son, Alvin Blinka, Jr. and wife, Elaine; daughter, Shirley Robertson and husband, Gary; sister, Winnie Susan; grandchildren, Natalie Wintermyer and husband, Philip, Brandon Blinka and wife, Kim, Aaron Blinka, Clint Jablonski and wife, Sabrina, and Kristy Hebert and husband, Michael; great-grandchildren, Julia & Lauren Blinka, DJ Jablonski, Camber Fitzgerald, and Mason Gonzalez. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2019, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
