Bio
Funeral service for Mildred Earhart, age 80, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Suzzanne Renwick officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Jonathon Bassham, Wayne Davenport, Kenneth Davenport, Jesse Davenport, James Davenport, Gordo Davenport and George Davenport serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Earhart passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at her residence. Mildred was born on April 8, 1939 to George and Lilliam Davenport in Lone Oak, TX. Mildred was a retired office clerk and of the Christian faith. She is survived by her daughters, Suzzanne “Suzie” Renwick Partner Wayne Davis of Endfield, NY, Carroll Elain Earhart of Sulphur Springs, Gloria Flemming of Somerville, N.J; grandchildren, Jason Wayne Bassham, Kristin Nicole Bassham; great grandchildren, Jonathon Bassham, Cera Jo Bassham; several nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Michale Earhart; brothers, Glenn Davenport, Clifford Davenport, Robert Davenport; sister, Mary Hall.
