Thomas “Tom” George Picha, 68, of Camp Douglas passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at his home. Tom was born February 16, 1945 to Frank and Mildred Picha. Tom lived in Westmont, Illinois for many years prior to moving to Wisconsin in 1976. On August 12, 1994 he married Kay Stickney. Tom was a reliable, hardworking man and a devoted, caring son, husband, brother, father, grandfather and great – grandfather. He enjoyed many outdoor activities. He loved to golf, ride his Harley, and fishing. He looked most forward to two special fishing trips each year. One spent with the “boys” as a father’s day tradition and the other spent with his entire family, who he was most proud. Tom’s life-long occupation was a meat cutter and upon retiring he continued this passion through his own “Tom’s Deer Processing” business. Tom is survived by his loving wife and best friend Kay (Stickney), and three children, Taunny Gilbert (Tom), Tracy Bober (Chuck), and Tom Picha (Laurie); his brother and sister Frank Picha and Barb Saad; brother in law, Duane Stickney, mother in law, Eileen Stickney; 10 grandchildren, Jackie, Timmy, Tall Tommy, Molly, Dan, Drew, Darren, Emily, Mikey, Little Tommy, one great-grandchild Ian, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mildred Picha. A celebration of life will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall in Necedah on Saturday, July 6th from 4-7 pm.
