Frank F. Picha, age 84 of Fort Worth, formerly of West, passed away Monday, July 27, 1998 in Benbrook. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 29 at Mount Olivet Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday (today) at St. Rita Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Picha was born November 18, 1913 in West. He served in the U. S. Army Corp during World War II. He worked as a marker for Williamson-Dickie for approximately 30 years until he retired in 1978. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, S.P.J.S.T., American Legion and many Senior Citizens Clubs. He was also an avid dancer. He was preceded in death by his wives, Viola in 1971, Margie in 1981 and Mary in 1988. He is survived by a son, John Picha and wife Patricia of Fort Worth; three daughters, JoAnn Wallace and husband Ronnie of Benbrook, Kathy Halverson and her husband Eric of Baytown, and Betty Shamburger and her husband Joe of Fort Worth; one sister, Christine Urban of West; five grandchildren and his friend Esta Lee Jones of Arlington.
