Bio

Daughter of Arch and Antonia (Safarik) Harvey. She grew up in Farwell and attended country school there before attending St. Paul Normal Business College and graduating from Kearney State College. She taught school in the Howard County area for three years. She married Arthur Christensen in 1926 and then Frank Blazek in 1954. She founded AARP Chapter 635. She served as District 35 coordinator for the Silver Haired Legislature for several years. She was involved with Rebekah Lodge 132, First Presbyterian Church, Sears Retirees Club and several card clubs.
