Published in the Athens Review January 27, 1949 Funeral services for Alma Joyce Stewart, the four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stewart, who died at the family home on West Larkin street late Monday, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Assembly of God Church in Athens. The Rev. R.L. Rhodes, pastor, conducted the service. Interment was in the Shelby Chapel Cemetery under direction of the Carroll and Lehr Funeral Home of Athens. Surviving besides the parents are a brother and two sisters, Edward, Betty Roy and Mary Ann Stewart; and the maternal grandfather, E.N. Pierce, all of Athens.
