Bio

Co-Pilot of TWA flight 553. First officer Donald Binder, 29, joined TWA in July 1965. A native Nebraskan and a graduate of the University of Nebraska, he earned his wings as a naval aviator. He had 1,600 flying hours to his credit. First officer Binder was a widower with no children. He was survived by his father who lives in Kearney, Neb.
