Bio
Nashville, TN HOOPER, Julian Died December 22nd at Vanderbilt University Medical Center at age 93. He was a native of Murfreesboro, Tn., and the son of the late John C. Hooper and Mary Tompkins Hooper. He was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State College and worked in his early years at Murfreesboro Bank and Trust Co. followed by over 40 years of service in the trucking industry. He was vice-president of traffic at T.I.M.E.-D.C. at the time of his retirement. He was a member and elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary McNabb Hooper; a son, Dr. David C. Hooper and daughter-in-law, Sally North Hooper of Wellesley, Ma. and two granddaughters, Allison Hooper and Brook Hooper of Wellesley, Ma. Graveside services will be private at Woodlawn Memorial Park on December 24th. A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Thursday, December 27th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Carson Salyer officiating. The family will receive guests after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association or a charity of one's choice.
