Services for Charles R. Perry, Sr., 95, of Palestine will be at Bailey & Foster Chapel; burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Center, Texas. He was born to Elijah Earl Perry and Ima Grace Foster Perry. He was self employed in the wrecker businesss. He served in the US Marines during WWII. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bill Perry; brothers, Troy Perry, Dick Perry, Thomas Perry and J.L. Perry and a sister Eloise Roberts. He is survived by his sons, Jim Perry and Rusty Perry; sisters Ann Perry and Dorothy Henderson; brothers, Blue Perry, James "Pop" Perry, and Jimmy Ray Perry; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
