First Husband of Evelyn Annie Minton Wilkinson ∼ Gatim Berlin Wilkinson died Wednesday, April 24, at Dixon Memorial Hospital, Denham Springs. He was 66, a native of Head-of-Island, and a resident of Denham Springs. Body to be at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home, Denham Springs, until religious services conducted by the Rev. R.L. Cook and the Rev. J.K. Pearce. Interment in Amite Baptist Cemetery with Masonic rites at graveside conducted by Denham Springs Lodge No. 297, F&AM. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Minton Wilkinson of Denham Springs; two sons, B.F. and Elbert Wilkinson, both of Denham Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Annie Laura Barnett and Mrs. Judy Badon, both of Denham Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Q.D. Stephens of Texas City, Tex., Mrs. Jack O'Rear of LaFeria, Tex., and Mrs. Joe Gray of Harlington, Tex.; two brothers, Eldon and Otto Wilkinson, both of Brownsville, Tex.; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Berlin Wilkinson; and a daughter, Mrs. C.J. Bailey. He was a member of Sugartown Baptist Church, Sugartown, and of the Sam Todd Lodge No. 128, F&AM, Sugartown.
