Bio

John Leo Hight, of Cullman, passed away Sunday at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Decatur and was employed with Children’s Hospital of Alabama for 26 ½ years. Funeral services will be Thursday August 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 1-2 pm. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Irene Hight and his sister, Rebecca Connelly. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Ronda Hight; children: Tiffany Leslie (Jason), Karen Ingram (David) and Charles Hight; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Sue Quick (Frankie) and Martha Mitchell (Alton); brother, Mike Hight.
