Bio

Elvin T. Dohnal La Grande Elvin Theodore Dohnal, 89, of La Grande, died May 23 at his home. At his request there will not be a viewing or service. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center. Elvin was proud to have honorably served with the U.S. Army and as an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad. Surviving relatives include his children, Rick, Cheri and Todd; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 97211.
