Gordon Sanford McDonald was born May 18, 1937, in Shelby County, to Luther James McDonald and Cassie Corene Snyder McDonald. He was the owner and operator of a machine shop. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, traveling, and playing dominoes. Mr. McDonald was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Alicia McDonald; parents, Luther James McDonald and Cassie Corene Snyder McDonald; brothers, Marlon McDonald and Nolan McDonald; and sister, Bronice Curtis.
