Leroy Stamper passed away on July 7, 2019. Born October 24, 1946 in Lorenzo, TX, he was preceded in death by wife Brenda M Stamper, parents James RB Stamper and Ellen R Lightfoot Stamper, sister Peggy Latham, brothers Dean, Bill, Travis and James Stamper. He is survived by daughters Becky Summers and husband Kurt, and Sarina Turner, grandchildren Becca Carpenter and husband Jude, Bri Summers, Annie Bish and husband Joshua, Joshua Scroggins and fiancé Katie, Eric Turner and wife Amber, great-grandchildren Paisley, Leila, Marshall and Roman, and many other family and friends. Leroy did 2 tours in Vietnam during his 6 years in the army. He retired from the city of Dallas water department in 2001. After his retirement he worked at Adessa auto auction part time as a van driver until his health prevented it. He was a man of faith and family and will be missed by all who knew him.
