Bio

Otilia "Tillie / Toot" (Racek) Chesley was born to her loving parents Frank R. and Marie Mary (Virka) Racek on Thursday August 17, 1905 at North Bend, Dodge County Nebraska. My research found no information on Toot's childhood or schooling. Toot was united in marriage to Carl Chesley on Saturday June 29, 1929 at Fremont, Dodge County, they were blessed with two sons and a daughter over their years of marriage. Toot was a Morse Bluff, Saunders County farm wife and a resident of North Bend. Toot was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Sadly Toot passed away at the Fremont Hospital, Dodge County on Saturday February 18, 1984 at the age of 78 years, 6 months, 1 day which does not include her last day, she lived a total of 28,674 days. Toot's funeral service was held at First United Methodist Church of North Bend with Rev. Gary Main officiating. Mrs. Mary Satorie was organist and Dick Satorie was the soloist. Toot was interred in the Killian Cemetery also known as the Czech National Cemetery west of Morse Bluff. Toot's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory.
