Bio
Woodrow Wilson Carter Jr. was born to Woodrow and Hazel Carter on December 9, 1932 in Maud, Texas. He went to be with his Lord on June 9, 2019. Woodrow retired after serving 32 years from the Dallas Fire Department. During his spare time he enjoyed gardening. He served in the US Army. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Woodrow is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Doyle, Gene, and Billy; sister, Polly Sanderson. He is survived by his loving wife, Billie Marie Carter; sons, Steve Carter and wife, Carlene, Billy Mark Carter and wife, Kim; daughters, Cathy Harris and Cindy Carter. He leaves behind a legacy of 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
