St. Joseph News-Press ~Wed, May 03, 1944 ·Page 4 William Perrin Kent, 59 years old, a yardman for the St. Joseph Live Stock Commission Company, died this morning at his home, 2709 Sacramento street, He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and had resided in St. Joseph 25 years. Mr. Kent was born in Doniphan County, Kansas. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Kent; a son, Lieut. (j.g.) Perrin A. Kent, Navy Air Corps at Norfolk, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Rex Patterson, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. A.J. Steichen, Wichita; two brothers, Edmond Kent, Sparks, Kan., and Foster Kent, Ainsworth, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Dittemore, Wichita; Mrs. Mary Bailey and Mrs. Joseph Bohr, both of Troy, Kan,, and four grandchildren.
