Bio
Eloise Anderson, the daughter of Albert and Nellie Albright Kelso, was born October 10, 1914 at Hastings, Nebraska. Her death occurred at Hastings, Nebraska on March 26, 1980 at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 16 days. She spent her childhood in the Trumbull and Phillips Communities and received her education in the public schools of those vicinities. On March 27, 1935 she was united in marriage to Reuben Anderson at Grand Island. They farmed in the Monroe precinct for several years and then moved to a farm near Phillips where they were residing at the time of his death on June 22, 1960. After his death she continued to reside on the farm for a short time and then moved to Aurora where she was employed at the Coast to Coast Store. In 1976 when the owner of the store sold this store and moved to North Platte, she went with them to start their store there. In September of 1978 she retired and moved to Grand Island. She was baptized and confirmed in the Baptist Church in Chapman, and attended church there, when they resided nearby. While residing in Aurora, she had attended the United Brethren Church here and after moving to Grand Island, attended Calvary Lutheran Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant son and one sister Mrs. Betty Banta.
