Trennie Faye Neavor, 64, of 3608 15th St. A, Moline, died Tuesday, April 22, 1997, at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline. Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation. The former Trennie Benton was born Oct. 15, 1932, in Winfield, Ala., the daughter of Hardeman M. and Verla Langston Benton. She married Aaron Leroy Maddox Aug. 19, 1951, in Winfield. He preceded her in death in May 1977. She married Edward W. Neavor March 27, 1980, in Moline. She worked at the former W.T. Grant's Department Store as a clerk. She retired from the driver's license service in 1993 where she worked as a facility clerk for 13 years. She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Rock Island. She was a past member of Quinsippie camping club and the Davenport Moose. She and her husband volunteered at the Angel tree during the holidays at Duck Creek Mall. She enjoyed playing cards with various card clubs. Survivors include her husband; a son, Brian Maddox, and his fiancee, Sarah Schlumpberger, Chanhassen, Minn.; stepchildren and their spouses, Barbara Lynn and Dale Burton, Runnells, Iowa, Shellie L. and Scott Farber, Jack D. and Kay Neavor, Scott A. and Peg Neavor, and Charles E. and Joni Neavor, all of Davenport; 13 stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Colburn, Rock Island, Annie Lou Smith, Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Murel Webb, Winfield; a brother, Norman Benton, Winfield; and several nieces and nephews.
