Wayne Korenek, age 60, passed away suddenly on June 4, 2019 in El Campo, Texas. Wayne was born September 2, 1958 in El Campo, Texas to Richard and Adela (Pavlu) Korenek. He was the youngest of 11 children. Wayne was employed by Gerberman Jewelers and a retired self-employed auto mechanic. Wayne liked to watch movies and he loved to cook. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Hubenak and nephew, Kenny Hubenak. Visitation begins 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nada with a Rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Peter Yeboah-Amanfo officiating.
