Mrs. Gertrude Irene Haith, 49, of 2307 Scott Ave., died Sunday. She had lived in Lincoln and the state for 25 years. Her husband, John L., died in May, 1955. Surviving are a son, Jesse L. Haith, Jr. of Lincoln; two daughters, Dorothy Jean Haith and Mrs. Billie Lea Carr, both of Lincoln; father, W. W. Rice of Bennet, Neb.; brothers, Verner Rice of Springfield, Ill., Russell Rice of Milwaukee, Wis.; sister, Zelma, of Louisiana; and three granddaughters.
