Lincoln Journal Star (NE) - Tue, 16 May 1961 William W. Rice, 86, of Bennet, died Sunday in Lincoln. Born in Kentucky, he had lived in Bennet 40 years and was a retired veterinarian. Survivors: wife, Lula; sons, Russell M. of Franksville, Wis., Loren M. of the U.S. Navy; sister, Cordelia Groves of Mayfair, Ill.; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Hodgman-Splain.
