Bio
Vera May Kaspar, age 97, of Clovis, NM passed Wednesday August 26, 2015, at Retirement Ranch in Clovis. Her body was donated to science, a private memorial service will be held at a later date with her grandson, Matthew Johnson, officiating. Vera was born October 10, 1917, to Wallace E. and Vera (Fuller) Brown in Michigan City, IN. In 1946, she married Rudolph Kaspar in Minneapolis, MN. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church. Vera loved baking, reading her bible, and most of all taking care of her grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Johnson of Clovis, NM, and Marilee (John) Kelly of New Hope, PA; son, R. Bruce (Mary) Kaspar of Cambridge, MN; 11 grandchildren, Charlene Rutowski (Russell) of LeSueur, MN, Charles Smith, Jr. (Stacy) of Minneapolis, MN, John E. Kelly III (Diane) of Emmaus, PA, Johnette Bonk (Joe) of Ottsville, PA, Trasa Ashley (Randy) of Clovis, NM, Matthew Johnson (Lesley) of Colorado Springs, CO, Jason Kaspar (Susan) of Cambridge, MN, Jared Kaspar (Jessica) of Lakeville, MN, Joanna O'Neil (Mike) of Pequot Lakes, MN, Justin Kaspar (Amy) of Colorado Springs, CO, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph; her parents, Wallace and Vera; daughter, Garnet Smith; granddaughter, Roxanne Rohloff; five brothers and two sisters.
