Bio
Randy S. Duckett age 65 passed away May 28, 2019 in Waxahachie, Texas. Randy attended Waxahachie Schools. He worked for C.A. Wilsons, Leon Duckett and Sons Plumbing, and became a Master Plumber in 1983. In 1989, he opened his plumbing business, Area Wide Plumbing, which he ran until becoming disabled and his two sons then took over the business. Randy loved hunting, fishing, camping and going to the casinos. Randy was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Maxine Duckett and brother Mike Duckett. Randy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly (Miller) Duckett of Avalon, sons: James, and wife Michelle of Avalon and Michael, and wife Amy of Waxahachie. Three granddaughters Brittany Estrada and husband Matt of Avalon, Ashley Duckett of Avalon, and Hailey Duckett of Avalon. One great-granddaughter Alexandra Estrada of Avalon. Brother Bruce Duckett and wife Carol of Waxahachie as well as numerous nieces, nephews and his special Uncle Billy Cook and lifelong friend Mike Rodgers. Friends and family are encouraged to gather for a time of visitation Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 6 to 8 in the evening at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Services celebrating Randy’s life will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10 o’clock in the morning in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
