The life of Jewel Caldwell Price was unknown to more than a few. Her great love was seeing others happy. When she received praise, she always smiled and said, "I was on assignment for our Lord." She never ran out of assignments, and never wanted praise for her unselfish service. Jewel leaves deep appreciation to a host of special friends, too many to name, but always remarked she would be nothing without their encouragement and loyalty and above all their remarkable friendship which was priceless to her. Jewel leaves deep affection to all whose smile spoke a thousand words. Her spiritual earthly journey was never wasted, her love to serve was without borders, and the love for others she exemplified will live on forever. While she sojourned with us, our hearts are blessed to know that she is smiling in her Heavenly Home where there is only joy and happiness. Published in Tyler Morning Telegraph on June 26, 2008
