Henry Early Rogers, Sr. June 28, 1929 - May 17, 2019 Henry Early Rogers, Sr., 89, a longtime resident of Knox Co, TX, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019. A graveside service will be held at 11:00a.m., Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Knox City Cemetery, Knox City with Mr. Dan Befort officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Knox City. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the funeral home 200 S. Lincoln Ave., Rochester, TX. Henry was born June 28, 1929 in Vanzandt Co., to Mary Ethel (Klutz) and Albert Rogers. Henry enjoyed visiting with his friends and family. He loved to be on the tractor. He is survived by his companion, Arabelle Rogers of Rochester; son, Henry Rogers, Jr. and wife Karla of Rule; two daughters, Blinda Kay Rogers of Rochester, and Melissa Befort and husband Dan of Longview; brother, Walter Rogers of McKinney; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary (Klutz) Rogers; father, Albert Rogers; three sons, Jimmy Lee Rogers, Kenneth Wayne Rogers, and Charles Wesley Rogers; and numerous brothers and sisters.
