He married Ann Kotnek 17 Sep 1930. He was a member of the Beulah Community Church & a member of the American Legion Post in Cherokee, Ks. Survivors include his wife, son Charles Jr., daughters Mrs Charlotte Morgan & Mrs Shirley Bleach, brother Stanley, sisters Eunice Sack, Ruth Elwell & Clara Lisenby, eight grandchildren & two great grandchildren.
