Bio

Funeral services for Paula Gail Savage, 37, were held June 11, 1986 at 3 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. George Price, Jr., officiating. Mrs. Savage, of Mabank, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mona Mae Bateman, Spur, about 1:30 p.m. Monday. She had been ill for some time and Justice of the Peace Woodie McArthur ruled death due to natural causes. A homemaker, she was born in Lubbock on September 25, 1948 and married Arthur Mac Savage. She had lived in Mabank for the past ten years. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Mac Savage, Mabank; two daughters, Renee' Cloude, Mabank and Charla Whipple, Jacksboro; her mother, Monna Mae Bateman, Spur; one sister, Jo Ann Hill, Slaton; one brother, Russell Bateman, Shallowater; one grandchild, Micah (Deedle) Whipple, Jacksboro. Her father preceded her in death in 1985. The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Burial was in Spur Memorial Cemetery with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
