∼ OBITUARY OF DOROTHY LOUISE COMBS Dorothy Louise Whittenberg COMBS, age 76, of Bethany, Oklahoma, was born April 18, 1940, in Gladewater, Texas. She was the daughter of Robert and Constance (Forrester) COMBS. She left this life on Friday, October 21, 2016, in Bethany, Oklahoma. Dorothy received her Bachelor's degree in Education from Bethany Nazarene College, now known as Southern Nazarene University, Bethany, Oklahoma. She was a teacher and taught for twenty years at Yukon Middle School. Dorothy was a member of the National Education Association and Jernigan Memorial Church of the Nazarene, Bethany, Oklahoma. She enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles and loved to read. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Carl COMBS and David Earl COMBS. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Ed DUGAN, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Denise andEric KYRK, Harrah, Oklahoma; sister, Marie BRADSHAW, Lindale, Texas; one grandson, Robert DUGAN, his wife, Tia; and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2016, at Jernigan Memorial Church of the Nazarene, Bethany, Oklahoma.
