Michael Wayne "Mike" Salik, 51, of Ennis, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. He was born July 8, 1967, in Ennis, Texas, to the late Emil Joe and Annie Ruphine (Nakuza) Salik. Mike loved to fish, watch Nascar and spend time with his family at barbeques. His family will greatly miss him. He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin J. Salik; and sister, Doris Strunc. Survivors include his son, Michael B. Salik and his wife, Kathryn, of Ennis; special grandson, Diesel Salik; sister, Irene Jurica and her husband, Robert, of Ennis; brothers, Bobby J. Salik and his wife, Robby, of Ennis and Jimmy R. Salik, of Ennis; brother-in-law, Murray Strunc; ex-wife, Melinda Bigham; and numerous nieces and nephews. U5
