News-Democrat (Paducah, Kentucky), 17 Nov 1912, Sun • 4 James Calvin Chapman, aged 68 years, died at his home on Trace creek east of this city. He was on of the best known farmers of that section and had lived there many years. He had only been ill but a few days and the cause of his death is thought to have been pneumonia. He was a member of the Trace Creek Baptist church and is survived by a wife and six children, five sons and 1 one daughter. ~~~~~~~ Listing in the Graves County Cemetery Transcriptions, Vol. 1, page 214.
