Lois Grimes Barnes passed away February 5, 2019 in Campbell, Texas. She was born April 12, 1931 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Bill Ray and Nora (Webster) Grimes. She was 87 years of age. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tommy Barnes; husband, Thomas Barnes, Sr.; daughter, Nora Faye; sisters, Lillie, Dora Mae, and Rachel; and brothers, Clois and Ray. Affectionately known as "Nonnie", Lois will be remembered for her unconditional love, undenying faith, and incredible strength. Services for Lois will take place Monday, February 11, 2019 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel. The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 pm for a time of visitation and a viewing. The service will follow at 2:00 pm. Following the service, there will be a short procession to Laurel Oaks Memorial Park for a brief committal service in the Garden of Mt. Emblem. Tim Barnes, Dakota Carson, Josh Carson, Jimmie Kenyon, Gene Marsh, Jr., and Frankie Mothersell will serve as pallbearers. Jeff Gateley, Tereance Govan, Shawn Marsh, and Lance Wooldridge will be honorary pallbearers. Please join the family in wearing red in honor of Lois as red was her favorite color.
