Bio
Bernice A. Kubena, 76, of Seguin, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at her residence. She was born July 14, 1942 in San Antonio, to Joseph J. and Mary Patricia Krzesniak. Bernice was a homemaker and member of St. James Catholic Church. Her life will be remembered for her great love and support of her husband, Joe, her children and grandchildren. Bernice will be dearly missed, never forgotten, and will remain an inspiration to all. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Joe Kubena; sisters, Veronica Green, Joenell Dotson and Debbie Krzesniak. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 8, 2019, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m., at St. James Catholic Church 510 S. Camp St. in Seguin. Committal will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park 2951 TX-46, in New Braunfels. Arrangements are under the direction of Goetz Funeral Home 713 N. Austin St. in Seguin.
