Bio

Pauline Caldwell, 98, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019, in Ennis, Texas. Burial will be at Myrtle Cemetery. Pauline was born in Bardwell, Texas, on May 27, 1921, to the late Lonnie and Lottie R. (Wylie) Lewis. She grew up in Bardwell and attended Bethel Schools. On April 13, 1940, she married Morris Caldwell and they made their home in Telico before moving to Ennis. Pauline worked at the Donut Shop, Dairy Mart for twenty-five years, and was a home caregiver for many years. She was a member of the Foundation of Life Church. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and family. Pauline was well known for her great sense of humor and quick wit. Survivors include her daughter, Polly (Caldwell) Percival; daughters-in-law, Mary Caldwell and Linda Lott; sister-in-law, Linda Lewis; grandchildren: Shelly and Troy Vyers, Gena Percival, Corey Percival, Weldon and Pam Caldwell, Russell and Libby Caldwell and Chad and Julie Caldwell; great-grandchildren: Randy and Hayley Vyers, Jordan and Jared Cunningham, Brittaney and Jeff Aycock, Hanah Caldwell and John Hernandez, Reese and Reede Caldwell, Gavin Caldwell, Monica and Adam Herrera and Daena Castillo; great-great-grandchildren: Breona Benavidez, Abraham Castillo, Angel Herrera, Jaysie Cunningham, Jaxie Cunningham, Annabelle McCoy, Chelsea McCoy, and Parker Aycock; along with a number of extended family and friends. T5 Greeting her in Glory are her husband, Morris Caldwell, sons: Weldon and Bill Caldwell, son-in-law, Billy Percival, great-grandson, Angel Benavidez, great-great-grandson, Tarek McCoy, one sister, ten brothers and her parents.
