Tuley, Billy "Joe," 92, retired CE Natco senior foreman and Army Air Corps veteran, died Sunday, Jan. 6. Visitation 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service, and service 2 p.m. Thursday, Carbondale Assembly of God, Tulsa. -------------------- Billy Joe Tuley, age 92, of Sand Springs, departed this life Sunday, January 6, 2019, at his home. Joe was born April 1, 1926, in Tipton, Oklahoma, to Thomas Benton and Myrtle (Langston) Tuley. He attended school in Cyril, Oklahoma, and later joined the United States Army-Air corps during World War II. After his honorable discharge, Joe went to work driving a Semi tractor trailer and a Dump Truck. Joe married Ruth Yancey on April 26, 1946, in Davis, Oklahoma; she later preceded him on November 3, 1988. Also preceded in death by parents; step-daughter, Brenda Wynn; two sisters, Bessie Hollingsworth and Essie Cail; three brothers, Leon, Ben and Jerry Tuley. A celebration of life service will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m., January 10, 2019, at Carbondale Assembly of God Church in Tulsa. Joe will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
