First Class Thomas Benton Tuley Jr., 60, of Copperas Cove, Texas, was April 8 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home Chapel, Copperas Cove. A graveside service was April 9 with full military honors at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas. Tuley was born at County on Jan. 3, 1936, and died April 4 at a Texas hospital. He was raised and educated in Davis and was a 1953 graduate of Davis High School. He served in the U. S. Army before retiring with 26 years of service in Thailand, Korea and Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of the home; two daughters, Shelley of the home and Shiela Trundle of Killeen, Texas; three sons, Kelley Tuley of San Antonio, Jerry Tuley of Copperas Cove and Jason Tuley of Austin, Texas; his mother, Myrtle Tuley of Wynnewood; a step-son, Bryan Watson of Temple; two step-daughters, Debbie Santigo of Temple and Shannon Riddle of San Antonio; two sisters, Bessie Hollingsworth of Fittstown and Essie Cail of Ardmore; two brothers, Joe Tuley of Sand Springs and Ben Tuley of Tryon, eight grandchildren and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben, and a brother, Leon. Military Information: SFC, US ARMY
