Bio

Zachariah was the son of John Goforth and Nancy (Chandler) Goforth. He married Charity King in Benton CO, TN on June 02, 1855. Zachariah married Charlotte "Lottie" Melton in Benton CO, TN on June 07, 1874. Birth date is estimated from Federal Census Records. Zachariah's grave is no longer marked, but he is believed to be buried at McRae's Chapel, as he died in Big Sandy, Benton CO, TN, and this is where his unmarried son was buried in year prior to Zachariah's passing.
