Jerry Martin Former Tyler resident and police officer, Jerry Overton Martin, 71, Cleburne, died July 18, 2010, in Burleson. Services will be held at a later date.. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, He was born Nov. 16, 1938, in Big Spring. Jerry enjoyed wood working and playing golf. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, a son and daughter-in-law; tw0 daughters and a son-in-law; four sisters; a brother; and eleven grandchildren.
