Published in GoSanAngelo on Dec. 16, 2018 Ruth Ann Mikeska Wall, TX Ruth Ann Mikeska, 70, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2018 in San Angelo. Ruth was born November 15, 1948 to Robert and Sadie Simecek Mikeska. Ruth grew up in San Angelo and Wall and attended school until the 11th grade. She was a loving daughter and sister and enjoyed being a homemaker with her mom. She was very loving person by nature and had an internal clock that allowed her to remain structured most of her life. Her amazing internal clock allowed her to perform tasks at the exact time every day. If she was having her popcorn, you knew it was 3:00 P.M., on the dot! Ruth always helped her mom prepare for meals in the kitchen and make tea with lemonade and incredibly strong coffee. Ruth also helped her dad every year with the vegetable garden. There were many things she loved to do when she wasn't helping around the house. She loved tending to her many cats, especially her favorite cat "Smokey," she loved watching TV, like her soap operas, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and playing all kinds of board games. Ruth also had an incredible faith in the Lord and loved being in church and attending her Sunday School Class at Wall Brethren Church. Her most remarkable and incredible quality was her ability to remember people, dates and times in history and other dates important to her own family history over anyone else. Ruth will remain in our hearts forever and we will dearly miss her! She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents Robert and Sadie, and her nephew-in-law Rick Molder. Ruth is survived by her Sister Dorothy Brenek and her husband Jimmie of Wall; her nieces and nephews, Annette DeFrees and her husband Larry, of Hewitt, Allen Brenek, of Wall, Janet Molder, of Wall and Jean Brenek, of Wall; her great nieces and nephews, Justin Russell, Ashley Russell, Morgan Gliha, Ricky Molder, Nic Molder, Tyler Molder, Mason Molder and Jacelyne Kort; 6 Great Great Nephews, and 1 Great Great Niece; her close cousin Barbara Holiday of Santa Fe, N.M.; and dear aunt Frankye Mae Mikeska, of West, TX. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Wall Brethren Church with Rev. Tommy Tallas officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will be her nephew and her great nephews.
