ALICE GRELLNER Feb. 27, 1926 - Dec. 10, 2013 OKARCHE Alice Annabel Grellner died peacefully on December 10, 2013 with her children at her side. She was born in Kingfisher, OK on February 27, 1926 to Edwin and Mary Hobza Buettner. She married Louis Grellner in 1949 and moved to Okarche where they raised their 8 children. Alice was a devout Catholic who attended daily Mass for decades. She was a loving wife and mother, and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her most endearing quality was her ability to see good in all people. She was funny and positive in all interactions. She somehow raised 8 children who in adult life admitted to each other that they all felt they were her favorite. That is quite a feat. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Louis Joseph, and daughter Annette Marie. She is survived by daughters Mary Beth Rund and husband Butch, son John A. Grellner and wife Letha, daughter Barbara Miller and husband Bill, daughters Joyce Ball and Janelle Grellner Jacobs, daughter Sharon Burch and husband John, and daughter Marilyn Arthurs and husband Steve. She will be missed by grandchildren Jennifer Johnson, Brad Rund, Casey Johnson, Tyler Grellner, Ross, Maggie, and Kirk Miller, Elizabeth Schroeder, Kevin Ball, Jana McDaniel, Jaclyn, Jessica, and Jordan Jacobs, Morgan, William, and Kelly Burch, Stephanie Mueggenborg, David Perdue and Laura Perdue. Great grandchildren are Christopher Rund, William and Bree Johnson, Madison and Brooks Rund, Adelyn Johnson, Evelyn and Allison Schroeder, Zara and Jennings McDaniel, Hannah, Hunter, Hudson, and Harrison Mueggenborg, and Bella and Grant Perdue. She is survived by 6 of her 7 siblings: Katie Tener, Margie Soudek, and Delores Graham, and Richard, Kenneth, and Charles Buettner. Her sister Marie McMillan preceded her in death. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Holy Trinity School in Okarche. Wake Services are on Thursday, December 12, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 7:00 pm. The funeral will be at Holy Trinity at 10:00am on Saturday, December 14th.
