Mary Day married twice: 1) Presley Peek Herod, March 18, 1841, Bartholomew Co., Indiana They moved to Davis Co., Iowa, where Presley died in 1860. 2) Jacob Sibert, Oct. 11, 1874, Davis Co., Iowa The Evening Republican Columbus, Indiana Monday, Feb. 28, 1910 Mary Siebert, aged eighty-nine years, died at Indianapolis Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at the home of her son, Lee Herod. The body will be brought here Tuesday morning at 9:35 o'clock and at 12:30 o'clock it will be taken to the Section church near Azalia, where the funeral will be conducted by Rev. Lewis King at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Siebert was a resident of Bartholomew county for great many years.
